I LOVE that of all the animals to take pictures of and/or post, you have the elephants and the giraffes. Those are our “must see” animals on any trip: Goat #1 loves ALL THINGS ELEPHANT and Goat #2 loves ALL THINGS GIRAFFE. I can’t wait to show them this post!

We took the Great White Lizard Hunter to the Zoo for the first time in January. He got to FEED the giraffes and RIDE a camel. It was fucking awesome. Seeing things through their eyes is priceless.

I love the San Diego Zoo. I traipsed that thing while beastly pregnant. In fact, I think people stopped to look at me like I was one of the exhibits while I was seated and trying to catch my breath. THAT was awesome!

We must suck as parents because we haven’t been to the zoo yet with the Little Imp. Well, I take that back…we’ve been to an animal sanctuary. I forgot about that. They have tigers, lions and bears…oh my! Imp loved it. But it’s really small, so not so much a zoo. Of course now, we’ll have to wait for the spring thaw before we can go traipse through the zoo…the Boston one at that, as it’s the closest official “zoo” around.
I’m a little envious looking at your pics of the little bean with his g’rents. We have ZERO family close by and I always get a tad melancholy when I see family shots like this. These are wonderful photos and I think, after looking at all of them, I’m going to see if we can adopt some g’rents of our own somewhere. *lol*

I haven’t been to the zoo in about 20 years………..I guess when you live here………..”Come to the World Famous San Diego Zoo!” I did recently go to the San Diego Wild Animal Park………it was fun. Haven’t been to Disneyland since 1987. Peace, Mike.
